the days are getting shorter
and the shine fades away
the wind is getting colder
all the green begins to wither
she knows that her time has come to
fly away… fly away…
to break out of all the pain
the suffering, the obscureness of
life… life …
fly… away…
she knows that there is no reason to
stay here anymore
that what she is looking for is not
to be found here in this
never resting, always
demanding world
she tries to take a start, spread her wings
and find her way
she flies higher, she wants to see a light
there she flies out of sight
the wind is way too hard
at last she feels weak and tired
she crashes down on the ground
there she lays more dead than alive
she feels infinitely alone
but then she looks a bit closer and
sees all the other ones who
felt the same, shared the same
old dream of being free
she asks herself
what could have happened
if we´ve tried it together
